Faktencheck Artenvielfalt

Project Management

Faktencheck Artenvielfalt involves a large number of authors working on a comprehensive assessment of biodiversity in Germany. The project management team takes over the central coordination and technical support of the initiative to take full advantage of the broad variety of expertise.

The project management team supports the eight chapter groups and is responsible for the consolidation and harmonization of the results. Representatives of the project management team collaborate in the individual chapter groups and help to ensure the best use is made of the synergy potential between the chapters. Another task of the project management team is to set up an information system that comprises not only the report and additional materials but also a literature database with which all statements can be traced back to the respective literature and data sources. The exchange with scientists outside the project, with partners at ministries, authorities and associations as well as with interested citizens ensures that the results of the project are also relevant for application. The project management team coordinates the preparation of the final report and is responsible for writing the introduction as well as the cross-thematic synthesis chapter. In addition, it acts as editor of the report and coordinates the preparation of the executive summary for decision makers.
