1st European FEdA Conference: Biodiversity and Human Well-Being – Europe’s Role in Shaping Our Future
High expectations are linked to the “post-2020 global biodiversity framework” as well as the European “Green Deal”. Are these high expectations justified or do we need to be more ambitious to save the world’s biodiversity and ecosystems? What role can or should transdisciplinary science play to stop and reverse biodiversity loss, and how can we create synergies at the European and international scale in order to halt and reverse ecosystem decline and improve human well-being? To discuss and elucidate these questions, the BMBF Research Initiative for the Conservation of Biodiversity (Forschungsinitiative zum Erhalt der Artenvielfalt, FEdA) invites you to save the date for the transdisciplinary digital conference “Biodiversity and Human Well-Being – Europe’s Role in Shaping Our Future” from 25–27 January 2022. The conference invites European scientists from all disciplines related to biodiversity as well as stakeholders from politics, society, economy and the media.
