FEdA: Research for biodiversity


FEdA Corporate video launched. 

The sixth great mass extinction of species has long since begun. In order to not only stop the loss of biodiversity, but to reverse the trend, we need comprehensive system solutions.

This requires all of us: business, politics, science and society must work together to master one of the greatest challenges of our time. The Research Initiative for the Conservation of Biodiversity (FEdA), funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, comprises over 40 projects. The initiative is now presenting itself in a film.

It’s not just the climate crisis that needs to be tackled – species are also dying out many times faster than would be natural. We need system solutions to stop this mass extinction. These must be jointly supported by science, business, politics and society. The Research Initiative for the Conservation of Biodiversity (FEdA) comprises over 40 transdisciplinary research projects that are developing such system solutions.
